Wizard Development

Sylvatica has pioneered the application of practical LCA in the form of Wizards. Wizards are customized by industry or company and allow any manufacturing expert to enter manufacturing data on a specific product or product family, with the end result a full LCA of the product. Wizards can be used for DfE, product or process improvement, and for Environmentally Preferable Product (EPP) submissions. They may be commissioned by a single company or, more often, an industry association or EPP organization. Because the Wizards encapsulate the LCA knowledge in automated software, they increase consistency across the user base. In addition, users no longer have to be LCA experts to create meaningful impact data.
